Chelsea winger Christian Atsu has joined Malaga on loan for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old, who has not yet made an appearance for the Premier League club since joining from Porto in 2013, spent the first half of the campaign at Bournemouth.

The winger started just two games, both in the Capital One Cup, for the Cherries in that time but was recalled by Chelsea earlier this month.

Atsu will now finish the season in Spain for Malaga, who are currently 12th in the La Liga table.

Last season, the Ghana international had a spell at Everton, where he played in five Premier League games.
