Chelsea are reportedly refusing to give up on signing Juventus star Alex Sandro after making a fresh enquiry.

Chelsea are reportedly confident that Alex Sandro wants to move to Stamford Bridge, but they may need the full-back to submit a transfer request.

The Brazilian has been linked to the defending Premier League champions all summer, but Juventus have rebuffed the Blues' advances.

Bids of £52m and £61m have been rejected by the Italian giants, but Chelsea remain keen on getting a deal over the line after enquiring about Sandro on Tuesday, according to the London Evening Standard.

The report claims that the West London outfit are willing to pay the full-back £100,000 a week, which is a major improvement on the £84,000-a-week salary that Juventus have offered in a new contract.

Due to the player's delay in putting pen to paper on fresh terms, Chelsea reportedly feel that they have a good chance of signing the 26-year-old, as long as he forces the move along.

The Blues have signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata so far this summer.
