Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri says that Chelsea have "no chance" of getting their hands on Brazil left-back Alex Sandro.

Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has told Chelsea that they have "no chance" of signing left-back Alex Sandro.

The Blues have been strongly linked with a move for the 26-year-old, who played against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium in a friendly on Saturday, since the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

It is understood that Chelsea are prepared to break the transfer record for a defender in order to sign Sandro, but they reportedly had a £60m bid turned down earlier this summer.

After Juve's 2-0 defeat to Spurs in London, Allegri told reporters: "Alex Sandro is a Juventus player and he will stay one."

When further pressed about the possibility of Sandro eventually moving to Stamford Bridge, he added: "No chance."

Sandro, capped seven times by Brazil, joined Juventus from Porto in August 2015 and has since won successive Serie A and Coppa Italia titles.
