Agent: 'Jorginho could return to Napoli'

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho could return to Napoli in the future, according to the Italy international's agent.

The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has suggested that his client could return to Napoli.

The 29-year-old made 160 appearances for the Italian giants between 2014 and 2018 before joining Chelsea, where he has made 120 outings over the last three seasons.

Jorginho appears to be firmly in the plans of new Blues boss Thomas Tuchel, but the Italy international has been consistently linked with a return to Serie A over the last 12 months or so.

Napoli are said to be interested in re-appointing Maurizio Sarri as their manager, and Jorginho's agent Jorge Santos has hinted that his client could follow his former head coach back to Naples.

"Football is dynamic and nothing can be ruled out," Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. "If Sarri returns to Napoli, he would make an attempt to bring Jorginho back. He is perfect for his football. I can't rule it out.

"He has two years left on his contract and is a regular starter for Italy. However, with a good project, he would be open to coming back."

Jorginho has played every minute of Chelsea's four Premier League games since Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard as head coach.
