Chelsea reportedly place Watford boss Javi Gracia on their shortlist of potential replacements for head coach Maurizio Sarri.

Chelsea have reportedly identified Watford boss Javi Gracia as a potential replacement for Maurizio Sarri.

The Blues are currently attempting to qualify for next season's Champions League, but failure to do so may lead to the dismissal of Sarri after just one season.

A number of candidates have allegedly already been shortlisted. and according to the Daily Record, Gracia is the latest name to enter the thoughts of the Blues hierarchy.

Gracia has transformed Watford from relegation candidates to challengers for a place in the Europa League, while the Hornets have also reached the final of this season's FA Cup.

The Spaniard still has over four years remaining on his contract at Vicarage Road, but that may not prevent Chelsea from showing an interest during the summer.
