Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata takes to social media to hint that he may return from a hamstring injury sooner rather than later.

Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata has suggested that his hamstring injury is less serious than initially feared.

Last weekend, Morata was forced off during the first half of Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Manchester City, and it has been reported that the summer signing may be sidelined for as many as six weeks.

However, like he did on Monday, the 24-year-old has hinted that may not be the case by posting two images on social media in Chelsea training gear.

The photos appear to show Morata on an exercise bike as he looks to maintain his fitness ahead of the Blues' return to action against Crystal Palace on October 14.

The injury forced Morata to miss Spain's World Cup qualifying fixtures with Albania and Israel respectively.
