Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink admits that he does have "concerns" about the form and fitness of the 2014-15 Premier League Player of the Season Eden Hazard.

Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink has admitted that he has "concerns" over the fitness and performances of winger Eden Hazard.

Last term Hazard was the Premier League's Player of the Season as he helped Chelsea win the title, but both his and the club's form have taken a nosedive this year.

In midweek the Belgian was substituted with hip and groin issues during the Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and booed off the field by the home support.

Hazard's father has claimed that the 25-year-old has been struggling with the problem for several months and that it has contributed to his dip in form.

"His father made a fair judgement. He is not absent of injury," Hiddink told reporters today.

"What is an injury? You can have an injury where you cannot play, or where you can play when you are not fully fit.

"I have my concerns about him as well: whether he should play, when he's not top, top fit, an hour at full intensity or another part of the game [as a substitute]. We're trying to help him."

Hiddink did say, however, that Hazard would be available to face Everton in tomorrow's FA Cup quarter-final at Goodison Park.

Diego Costa scores to equalise in the Champions League round of 16 second leg between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain on March 9, 2016
