Paul Trollope is reportedly selected as Russell Slade's successor at Cardiff City.

Cardiff City are reportedly expected to appoint Paul Trollope as the club's new manager.

Russell Slade has been first-team coach since October 2014, but it was confirmed at the end of the Championship season that the 55-year-old will become head of football at the club.

Trollope was part of Slade's coaching staff from February 2015, but will now take on the managerial role, according to BBC Sport.

The 43-year-old is expected to continue his role within the Wales's coaching team for this summer's European Championships in France.
