Burnley boss Sean Dyche says that the club's supporters 'have a role to play' during the second leg of the Europa League playoff tie with Olympiacos.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has suggested that the club's supporters can help the team overcome a two-goal deficit against Olympiacos in the Europa League.

The Clarets are bidding to try to reach the group stages of the competition, but the Premier League side face an uphill task having suffered a 3-1 defeat in Greece last week.

However, while acknowledging that Burnley are the clear underdogs, Dyche feels that his side are capable of producing one of the most memorable comebacks in their history.

At a press conference, Dyche told reporters: "It is certainly a decent-sized one. They'll be favourites of course after the scoreline over there.

"We have a few challenges with injuries, a pretty low squad at the moment, but we've been productive before when the challenge is against us, so obviously that is what we are looking to do.

"I think they (the Burnley fans) will be very important. I think there will be good numbers. I think they believe the tie is still alive, as we do."

Burnley head into the game having suffered three consecutive defeats in all competitions.
