Wednesday's Championship predictions including QPR vs. Brentford

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Championship fixtures, including Queens Park Rangers vs. Brentford.

Coventry vs. Norwich (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Norwich City head into their Championship fixture with Coventry City on Wednesday evening having regained their lead at the top of the standings.

While the Canaries are pushing for promotion to the Premier League, Coventry play host to the Canaries sitting just three points above the relegation zone.

We say: Coventry City 0-2 Norwich City

Having gotten back on track at the weekend, Farke will expect his Norwich side to double their winning streak on Wednesday night. With Coventry now under threat from the teams below them, we think the visitors will take full advantage of the increasing pressure on the Sky Blues.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Millwall vs. Birmingham (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Birmingham City boss Aitor Karanka is in desperate need of a victory when his side travel to in-form Millwall in the Championship on Wednesday evening.

The Blues have lost back-to-back matches and are winless in five, while Millwall have won their last two games and are unbeaten in five.

We say: Millwall 0-0 Birmingham City

Millwall have won back-to-back games and are unbeaten in five, while Birmingham have lost back-to-back games and are winless in five.

If recent meetings between Rowett and under-fire Karanka tell us anything, though, it is that you should never bet against a draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Swansea vs. Nott'm Forest (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Swansea City's automatic promotion hopes from the Championship remain in their own hands as they prepare for Wednesday's visit of Nottingham Forest.

The Swans are four points behind second-placed Brentford and five adrift of Norwich City, though they have two games in hand to play on both sides.

Forest enter the midweek round of fixtures 16th in the table, meanwhile, five points above the relegation zone.

We say: Swansea City 2-1 Nottingham Forest

Forest will be out for some revenge in midweek after being thumped by Swansea in the FA Cup last month.

The Reds have gone four games without defeat since then, keeping three clean sheets, but Swansea are bang in form and should have enough to complete a rare league double in this fixture.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

QPR vs. Brentford (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Brentford square off against London rivals Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening looking to respond to their first Championship defeat since October.

While the visitors remain within one point of leaders Norwich City, QPR are just five points above the relegation zone despite their resurgence during 2021.

We say: Queens Park Rangers 1-2 Brentford

Well rested from a weekend off, we expect QPR to force the pace against opponents who must be having to deal with several fatigued players. Nevertheless, Frank has found solutions in the past, leading us to predict a spirited win for the Bees on Wednesday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Barnsley vs. Blackburn (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Barnsley welcome Blackburn Rovers to Oakwell on Wednesday evening on the back of ending Brentford's long-standing unbeaten record in the Championship.

The surprise win over the Bees has moved Barnsley level on points with their ninth-placed opponents, who have suffered back-to-back defeats.

We say: Barnsley 1-1 Blackburn Rovers

Playing their third game in under a week, Barnsley may have to rely on adrenaline to repeat their exploits at the weekend. Nevertheless, we feel that they will have enough in the tank to earn at least a share of the spoils, a result which would not aid either team's promotion bid.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Bournemouth vs. Rotherham (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Jonathan Woodgate potentially has one more game to stake a claim to become Bournemouth's next permanent manager when the Cherries welcome Rotherham United to the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth enter the midweek round of Championship fixtures sixth in the table, while visitors Rotherham are in 21st and just one point above the relegation zone.

We say: Bournemouth 2-1 Rotherham United

Rotherham have won three away games in a row and are seeking a fourth on the spin in the second tier for the first time since March 1982.

However, Bournemouth ended a three-match winless run at home last time out and we can see them digging deep to pick up all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
