Bournemouth and Ivory Coast midfielder Max Gradel is set to join Toulouse on a season-long loan deal, according to reports.

Bournemouth midfielder Max Gradel has edged closer to a season-long loan move to Toulouse, according to reports.

The 29-year-old only signed a new four-year contract at the Vitality Stadium last summer, but he failed to start a single Premier League game last season.

It was previously reported that Bournemouth rejected a bid for Gradel by the Ligue 1 club, with Cherries boss Eddie Howe suggesting that the player was a key part of his plans.

However, Sky Sports News has claimed that a deal has now been agreed for the Ivory Coast international to spent the 2017-18 season at the Stadium Municipal.

Gradel joined Bournemouth from Saint-Etienne for £3m in August 2015 but has scored just two goals from 27 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries.
