Result: Bournemouth snatch controversial point in six-goal thriller

Bournemouth and West Ham United play out a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Vitality Stadium, with three of the goals coming inside the final 10 minutes of the match.

Callum Wilson netted in added time to earn Bournemouth a controversial 3-3 draw against West Ham United in a thrilling contest at the Vitality Stadium this afternoon.

The English striker scored moments after Marko Arnautovic had netted his second goal of the afternoon, which looked like being enough to give the Hammers all three points at the time.

United were particularly unhappy about the manner of Wilson's last-gasp equaliser, as he appeared to use a combination of his head and arm to find the net, while the linesman's flag was also initially raised for offside.

Before all the late drama, James Collins surged towards the back post to head home from an Aaron Cresswell corner, getting the better of Simon Francis who had come close at the other end.

Adrian made a good save to keep out Wilson, who has previously netted a hat-trick against West Ham, while Joshua King - another with a treble to his name in this fixture - somehow missed from close range when picked out by his attacking teammate.

Both teams were creating chances, with Andre Ayew wayward with his shot and King shooting narrowly wide, and Adrian was also required to tip aside an Adam Smith attempt.

The leveller arrived through Dan Gosling, however, as he tucked past Adrian when latching on to Collins's half-cleared header.

West Ham were fortunate not to be a man light soon after, with Francis catching Cheikhou Kouyate clean in the face with his boot, which the referee felt was worthy of just a yellow.

Bournemouth completed the turnaround 12 minutes into the second half thanks to Nathan Ake, who swept the ball through the area to put his side in front.

The chances continued to arrive, as Adrian denied Gosling and Jordon Ibe, while Bobby Madley was also in the thick of it after waving away penalty appeals when the ball looked to hit Collins on the arm.

Two minutes after Adrian had again produced a top save, this time to thwart Benik Afobe, home keeper Asmir Begovic had a howler as he skewed his attempted clearance and Arnautovic had a simple finish.

Arnautovic was at it again when making the most of another Begovic mishap, slotting home after the Bournemouth keeper parried a shot into his path.

Then came that dramatic goal in stoppage time, which Cherries fans felt should not have been allowed to stand after Madley overruled the call of his linesman, meaning that the points were shared.

Bournemouth XI: Begovic; Smith, Francis, Cook, Ake; Ibe, Cook, Gosling, Fraser (Pugh 86'); King (Afobe 65'); Wilson

West Ham United XI: Adrian; Zabaleta (Rice 79'), Collins, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Masuaku, Kouyate, Obiang (Carroll 60'); Lanzini, Ayew (Hernandez 61'), Arnautovic
