Bournemouth injury, suspension list ahead of first game back

Sports Mole rounds up Bournemouth's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their first Premier League game back against Crystal Palace.

Bournemouth's battle to remain in the Premier League for the 2020-21 campaign will continue on June 20 when they take on an in-form Crystal Palace.

The Cherries are without a victory in their last four league matches and currently sit 18th in the table.

Eddie Howe's side are far from in a terminal position, though, as they are only behind 17th-placed Watford on goal difference, and there are sure to be plenty of twists and turns in the coming weeks.

Bournemouth have not been in action since losing 2-1 at Liverpool on March 7 due to the coronavirus outbreak, which halted the majority of football across the globe.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the team's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their first game back against the Eagles on June 20.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Daniels will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury at the start of April. The 32-year-old also faces a battle to be fit for the start of the 2020-21 campaign, with the Cherries confirming at the time of the operation that he "will be out for some time".

Steve Cook

Cook was forced off in Bournemouth's defeat at Liverpool last time out with a hamstring problem. The centre-back has since returned to training, though, and could be available for the clash with Palace.
