Result: Bosnia-Herzegovina cruise past Andorra

Bosnia and Herzegovina close the gap on Israel to two points in the race for a Euro 2016 playoff place with a 3-0 victory over Andorra.

Bosnia and Herzegovina have moved to within two points of a playoff spot in Euro 2016 qualifying Group B after a pedestrian 3-0 win over bottom side Andorra.

Unsurprisingly it was the home side who dominated from the first whistle against the nation that has conceded more goals in qualifying than any other side except Gibraltar, with Edin Dzeko and Vedad Ibisevic coming close early on.

They had a deserved lead after 14 minutes when Ermin Bicakcic met Miralem Pjanic's corner to head past Ferran Pol, but the hosts found the Andorran goalkeeper on good form as they immediately looked to increase their lead.

Bosnia did double their advantage after half an hour when Dzeko, who hit a hat-trick in the reverse fixture in March, drilled in his seventh goal of the qualifying campaign after Ibisevic's initial effort had been blocked.

Asmir Begovic was forced into a save when Marcio Vieira let fly from 30 yards, but it was 3-0 on the stroke of half time when Senad Lulic fired home from 12 yards.

Both teams were reduced to 10 men shortly after the hour when Everton midfielder Muhamed Besic was dismissed for throwing his chewing gum at Victor Rodriguez, who was also shown red for his reaction.

Ibisevic struck the post with a powerful effort as Bosnia perpetually attacked the Andorran goal, but despite racking up 19 shots they had to settle for a second 3-0 victory over the minnows.
