Result: Bolton Wanderers come from a goal down to secure point at Blackpool

Bolton Wanderers battle their way back to earn a point in a 1-1 draw away at the Championship's bottom side Blackpool.

Blackpool are still 10 points from safety at the foot of the Championship despite a hard-earned 1-1 draw at home to Bolton Wanderers.

Chris Eagles, who was making his Blackpool debut against the side who released him in the summer, almost got his Seasiders career off to a dream start but his 12th-minute shot was well held by Andy Lonergan.

Then it was Bolton's turn to threaten, as Tim Ream saw his shot palmed away by Joe Lewis before Lee Chung-yong flicked a header narrowly wide.

Blackpool continued to press though, and were unlucky not to take the lead after 19 minutes as Jacob Mellis shuddered the bar with a long-range effort.

Bolton then struck the woodwork themselves, as Lee's strike ricocheted back off the post following a slick move from the visitors.

Lewis was forced into another save from Max Clayton's strike before a controversial moment before the break saw the Blackpool stopper pick up just a booking, despite bringing down a goalbound Craig Davies inches outside the box.

After the break, Davies flashed a header wide before Jamie O'Hara fired down the throat of Lonergan at the other end.

Jacob Murphy floated a free kick into the top corner in the 76th minute as it looked as though Blackpool were on course for their first league win since early October.

However, Lee fired home from close range eight minutes from time to hand Bolton a share of the spoils.
