Bristol City are on the verge of signing 21-year-old goalkeeper Ivan Lucic from Bayern Munich.

Bristol City are close to completing a deal for Bayern Munich goalkeeper Ivan Lucic.

The 21-year-old has been on trial with the club during pre-season and featured in the 2-1 friendly victory over Cheltenham Town on Monday.

City manager Lee Johnson revealed that Lucic just needed to complete his medical before finalising the move, which would see him become the Championship outfit's 10th signing of the summer.

"He's just got to complete his medical, which is 90% done," Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol.

"He's athletic, he kicks the ball well and it's interesting to take a punt on one like that, because he's got a really good pedigree."

Lucic joined Bayern in 2014 having made one league appearance for Austrian side Ried.
