How Bayern Munich could line up against Eintracht Frankfurt

Sports Mole looks at how Bayern Munich could line up in Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Bayern Munich will be looking to seal their seventh straight Bundesliga title when they welcome top-four chasing Eintracht Frankfurt to the Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon.

A two-point advantage over second-placed Borussia Dortmund - in addition to a significantly better goal difference - means that Bayern only need a point to secure the title this weekend.

Niko Kovac's side had the chance to clinch the title last weekend, but third-placed RB Leipzig held the reigning champions to a draw, meaning that Dortmund still have some hope heading into the final matchday.

Franck Ribery scored a brace and Rafinha netted the other as Bayern recorded a 3-0 victory in the reverse Bundesliga match back in December.

That said, Frankfurt beat Bayern in last season's DFB-Pokal final, while Die Adler have plenty to play for on Saturday as a win could see them end the campaign in the top four.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how Bayern could line up this weekend.

POSS BAY XI vs. FRA

Out: Manuel Neuer (hamstring), Christian Fruchtl (elbow)
Doubtful: James Rodriguez (calf), Thiago Alcantara (knee), Javi Martinez (knee)

Bayern will be without the services of number one goalkeeper Manuel Neuer due to a hamstring injury, meaning that Sven Ulreich will start between the sticks as fellow stopper Christian Fruchtl is also sidelined.

The home side are also sweating over the fitness of Thiago Alcantara and Javi Martinez, with the pair both struggling with knee injuries. The former, however, should be fit to line up in central midfield.

James Rodriguez, though, is expected to miss out once again with a calf problem, leaving Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller and Kingsley Coman as the three in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Robert Lewandowski, who is again being strongly linked with Manchester United, will lead the Bayern line as the Poland international looks to add to the 38 goals that he has already managed this term.
