A report claims that Barcelona and Valencia are in talks over a swap deal for full-backs Aleix Vidal and Joao Cancelo.

Barcelona and Valencia are reportedly in talks over a swap deal for Aleix Vidal and Joao Cancelo.

Vidal, who moved to Barcelona from Sevilla in the summer of 2015, has been left out of Luis Enrique's last six squads amid suggestions that he is surplus to requirements at Camp Nou.

Despite the 27-year-old's lack of football this season, Enrique has recently admitted that the right-back's situation 'could change' over the next couple of months.

However, according to Radio Valencia, Vidal's time at Barcelona is coming to an end and the Spanish champions are currently in talks over a swap deal for Cancelo, who joined Valencia in 2015 after a loan spell at the Mestalla.

Cancelo made 33 appearances for Valencia in the second half of last season, while his contract at the Mestalla will run until the summer of 2021.
