Barcelona will move for another centre-forward this summer despite Antoine Griezmann's expected arrival, according to a report.

Barcelona will reportedly move for another centre-forward this summer despite the fact that the Spanish champions are nearing a deal for Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann is widely expected to complete a switch to Camp Nou this summer after recently revealing that he will be leaving the Wanda Metropolitano ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca also want to sign a back-up to Luis Suarez, who has been forced to miss the latter stages of the campaign following a knee operation.

Ernesto Valverde's side signed Kevin-Prince Boateng on loan from Sassuolo in January, but the 32-year-old only made three La Liga appearances in the second half of the 2018-19 season.

Barca ended their league campaign with a 2-2 draw at Eibar on Sunday afternoon.

The Catalan giants will now look to complete another domestic double when they take on Valencia in the final of the Copa del Rey on Saturday night.
