Barcelona welcomed Deportivo La Coruna to Camp Nou on Saturday knowing that a win would take them into second spot in La Liga.
A double from Rafinha and close-range Luis Suarez strike saw the home side lead by three goals at the interval.
Lionel Messi then came off the bench to make it 4-0 just before the hour and it got worse for Deportivo in the 65th minute when Laure was given a straight red card for an elbow on Neymar.
