How Osasuna could line up against Barcelona

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Osasuna could line up for Saturday's La Liga clash with Barcelona.

Osasuna will be looking to continue their positive run of form when they welcome Barcelona to Estadio El Sadar in La Liga on Saturday night.

Jagoba Arrasate's side, who have won three of their last four league matches to rise into 12th position, will again be unable to call upon Facundo Roncaglia and Chimy Avila this weekend through injury.

The home side could also be without Darko Brasanac, Ruben Martinez and Inigo Perez, with all three players facing uphill battles to return from their problems in time for the clash with Barca.

Osasuna recorded an impressive 1-0 win at Alaves last weekend, meaning that it would not be a surprise to see Arrasate send the same starting XI onto the field.

The bulk of the players that featured against Alaves should retain their spots, but there might be a change from a 4-4-2 formation to a 4-3-3, with an extra midfielder - likely to be Jon Moncayola - coming into the side.

Jonathan Calleri should get the nod over Ante Budimir in the middle of the attack, with Ruben Garcia and Roberto Torres operating in the wide positions.

Kike Barja came off the bench to net the winner against Alaves, but the Spaniard should again be on the bench with the likes of Enric Gallego and Jony, who are yet to score a league goal between them this season.

Osasuna possible starting lineup: Herrera; Vidal, Aridane, D Garcia, Cruz; Torro, Oier, Moncayola; Torres, Calleri, R Garcia
