Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Napoli

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Napoli.

Barcelona will be looking for their fourth straight victory in all competitions when they head to Napoli for the first leg of their last-16 Champions League tie on Tuesday night.

The Spanish champions have won their last four in the league to reclaim first spot from Real Madrid, including a 5-0 home success over Eibar on Saturday afternoon.

The Catalan giants will now switch their attention to the Champions League, though, as they look to secure a positive result in the first leg of their last-16 contest.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barca's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the match.

Ousmane Dembele will miss the remainder of the 2019-20 campaign having recently undergone surgery on a hamstring injury. The France international has struggled with injuries during his time at Camp Nou and is expected to be on the sidelines for the next six months or so.

Luis Suarez underwent an operation in January after damaging the external meniscus on his right knee. The Uruguay international is out for the foreseeable future, although it is thought that he could be available for selection before the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

Jordi Alba

Barca have confirmed that Jordi Alba picked up a groin injury in the early stages of Saturday's clash with Getafe. The Spanish champions have not put a timeframe on his return, although AS recently suggested that the left-back will be unavailable for at least the next three weeks.

Barca have no players suspended for the European fixture.
