James Rodriguez could seek a move away from Everton during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

James Rodriguez could reportedly seek a move away from Everton during this summer's transfer window despite only joining the Premier League club last year.

The Colombia international arrived at the Toffees from Real Madrid in September and has been in impressive form for Carlo Ancelotti's side this term, scoring five times and contributing seven assists in 20 appearances.

James has a contract at Goodison Park until June 2022, with the option of an additional 12 months, but according to Defensa Central, the South American is already considering his future at Everton.

The report claims that the attacker is not content with the weather in England, while he is concerned by the number of injuries that he is picking up due to the physical nature of the league.

The 29-year-old allegedly misses Madrid, meanwhile, and has not ruled out the possibility of joining La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid in the upcoming transfer window.

James has netted five times and registered three assists in 17 Premier League outings this term.
