Roma will reportedly return with a fourth offer for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.

Roma are reportedly gearing up to make a fourth attempt to sign Leicester City's wantaway winger Riyad Mahrez this summer.

The Serie A side have already had three bids for the 26-year-old turned down by the Foxes, with the most recent offer of £31.5m reportedly rejected on Monday.

According to Sky Italia, Roma remain undeterred in their pursuit of Mahrez and are expected to put in an improved offer on Wednesday evening.

The Algerian made clear his desire to depart the King Power at the end of last season, and although he is valued at £50m by his club, recent reports have suggested that they may be willing to accept an offer of around £40m.

Inter Milan have also reportedly entered the race for Mahrez, while a route for him to remain in the Premier League with Arsenal appears to be over after the Gunners baulked at his price tag.

As it stands, Mahrez remains in line to feature for Craig Shakespeare's side on Friday night when they travel to the Emirates for the Premier League season opener against Arsenal.
