James Rodriguez has suggested that it would make sense for him to return to Real Madrid after his loan spell with Bayern Munich.
Rodriguez is nearing the end of a two-year period with the German giants - who have an option to complete a permanent deal - but the forward has found himself in and out of the side since Nico Kovac's arrival.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the Colombia international, but it appears that a return to the Bernabeu could be in the offing.
The 27-year-old is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "In Madrid, I have everything such as my house and people who love me. We will have to see what happens, but at the moment I have a contract with Bayern Munich.
"I just want to finish the season and we'll see what happens. I keep in touch with some Real Madrid players."
Rodriguez has a contract at Real until 2021.
