AC Milan reportedly have an ace up their sleeve in their bid to lure Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai to San Siro.

AC Milan are reportedly planning to rival Arsenal for the signing of Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Hungary international is said to be viewed by Arsenal as an option to fill the void left by Aaron Ramsey, who moved to Juventus last summer.

Italian outlet Tuttosport suggests that Milan have an ace up their sleeve in their pursuit of Szoboszlai, however, as Ralf Rangnick - who acts as a general manager for all of Red Bull's football clubs - is being lined up to take over as their new head coach.

Szoboszlai has made 29 appearances for Salzburg in all competitions this season, including five in the Champions League group stage.

The 19-year-old has also previously been touted as a target for Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
