A report claims that Arsenal remain interested in signing AC Milan's 18-year-old midfielder Manuel Locatelli.

Arsenal have reportedly been closely monitoring AC Milan youngster Manuel Locatelli this season.

The 18-year-old was linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window, but Milan managed to resist the interest from England to keep hold of the in-demand teenager.

According to Calciomercato.com, Arsenal remain interested in Locatelli and had scouts in attendance to watch the Italian score Milan's winner against Juventus in Serie A last weekend.

The teenager, who has scored twice in seven league appearances this season, has drawn comparisons to Milan legend Andrea Pirlo since breaking into the first-team picture at San Siro.
