Arsenal announce that young forward Donyell Malen has left the club in order to sign for PSV Eindhoven.

Arsenal have announced that they have allowed Donyell Malen to leave the club for PSV Eindhoven.

The Gunners signed Malen in 2015, with the young Dutchman having gone on to score 27 times for the Gunners academy side during that time.

The 18-year-old was included in the first-team squad which toured Australia and Asia during pre-season, with Arsene Wenger giving the teenager some minutes on the pitch alongside the club's senior players.

However, the decision has been made for Malen to return to his homeland after Arsenal opted to accept a fee - which will remain undisclosed - for the prospect.

Malen leaves having failed to make an appearance in a competitive fixture.
