Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti insists that Mauro Icardi will not be sold this summer.

Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has ruled out selling Mauro Icardi this summer.

The 23-year-old, who scored 16 goals this season, has been linked with Premier League sides Arsenal and West Ham United.

Zanetti has conceded that there will be departures from San Siro in the next few months, but Icardi will not be one of them.

"We'll have to see [about who we might have to sell], but we've got to talk to Roberto Mancini about it first to make plans for next season," La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Zanetti as saying. "In any case, Icardi is certainly going to stay. He's our captain and even he's said that he's staying."

Icardi joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2013.
