Wolfsburg winger Julian Draxler insists that he will not seek a move away from the club in January.

Wolfsburg winger Julian Draxler has confirmed that he will remain with the club until next summer.

The 23-year-old had sought a move away from the Bundesliga side this summer amid links with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain but was told by general manager Klaus Allofs that he could not leave.

"We had disagreements," Draxler said at a fan event on Sunday. "But from September 1, it was clear that we could only go in one direction. Now it no longer matters.

"There will probably be speculation again in January, but I won't be the one to start them. My head is fully focused. I play towards the summer, trying to help the club."

Draxler's current contract includes a release clause, thought to be around £62m, which kicks in next summer.
