Arsenal reportedly remain keen to part ways with midfielder Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window.
Despite falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, Ozil expressed a desire to stay with the Gunners during the summer.
However, Arsenal still want to get the playmaker off their wage bill as soon as possible, even if it still means taking a financial hit.
According to The Mirror, the North Londoners are prepared to pay a portion of Ozil's income if he accepts an opportunity to move elsewhere, whether that be on a permanent or temporary basis.
Ozil still has just under two years left on his contract, although any interested clubs being aware that Arsenal are keen to do business regarding his exit.
The German has made just two starts in all competitions this season.
