Ajax full-back Nicolas Tagliafico - a rumoured transfer target for Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Barcelona - announces that he will not leave the club.

Ajax full-back Nicolas Tagliafico has announced that he will not leave the club this summer despite interest from a host of Europe's top clubs.

Tagliafico has played a major role in Ajax's treble challenge this season, with the Dutch outfit top of the Eredivisie, in the final of the KNVB Beker and in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

A number of Ajax's key players are expected to leave the club this summer as a result of their success in 2018-19, with Tagliafico alone having been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

However, the 26-year-old has now committed his immediate future to the club, ending speculation over his next move once and for all.

Speaking in a video posted on Ajax's official Twitter page, Tagliafico said: "Hello fans, how are you? I want to tell you that I will stay for one more season. Hopefully it will be a great year, like it is this year. A hug to all of you."

Tagliafico has scored five goals in 42 appearances for Ajax this season.
