A report claims that Real Madrid starlet Marcos Llorente will be allowed to leave this summer, with Arsenal the latest side to have shown an interest in the Spaniard.

Arsenal are considering a bid for Marcos Llorente after Real Madrid informed the midfielder that he is free to leave, according to a report.

The Spain Under-21s international's nine-year spell with Los Blancos appears to be coming to an end, as he has yet to force his way into Zinedine Zidane's first-team plans.

La Liga clubs Sevilla and Atletico Madrid have both been tipped to make a move, but Spanish outlet AS suggests that Arsenal have also shown an interest.

Arsene Wenger reportedly wants to add more quality to his midfield ranks and has identified the 22-year-old as a possible summer target, with less than two weeks left to get a deal over the line.

Llorente, who has three senior Madrid appearances to his name, spent last year on loan with Alaves in the Spanish top flight.
