Arsenal will reportedly not sell experienced attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Roma for less than £22m this summer.

Arsenal have reportedly informed Roma that they will have to come up with an offer of £22m to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a permanent deal this summer.

The 31-year-old has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with the Italian club, finding the back of the net on six occasions in 20 appearances, in addition to contributing four assists.

Roma are allegedly keen to sign the Armenian on a permanent deal and are believed to have already had two bids - the latest in the region of £10m - rejected by the Gunners.

However, according to Calciomercato, Mikel Arteta's side will refuse to sell the experienced attacker during this summer's transfer window unless their £22m valuation is met.

Mkhitaryan moved to the Emirates Stadium in January 2018 as part of the deal that took Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United.

The former Borussia Dortmund playmaker has struggled to make his mark for the Gunners, though, and was deemed surplus to requirements ahead of the current season.
