A report claims that Unai Emery may profit from the success of Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke's other business ventures, potentially funding a title challenge in 2019-20.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery may reportedly be heavily backed this summer thanks to the success of owner Stan Kroenke's other business ventures.

The Spaniard was expected to have a small budget of around £40m to work with in the off-season if the Gunners missed out on Champions League football.

That budget will only rise by a small amount if Arsenal finish in the Premier League's top four or win the Europa League, though, with Emery having to cut the cloth accordingly.

According to The Sun, however, billionaire owner Kroenke is set for a cash injection as he has paid off his privately-financed £138m Pepsi Center, the home of his NBA and NHL teams.

Kroenke will now make a profit on each home game they both play, which could supposedly go straight towards funding a possible Premier League title challenge for Arsenal.

A report by Forbes suggests that the American tycoon will pocket £11.5m before concession, advertising and merchandise revenue is taken into account for every 10 games played there.
