The Arsenal Supporters Trust will reportedly meet with chief executive Ivan Gazidis this weekend to discuss Arsene Wenger's future.

The Arsenal Supporters Trust (AST) will reportedly meet with Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis at the Emirates Stadium this weekend to argue their case for the dismissal of manager Arsene Wenger.

A poll of the AST's 1,000 members revealed that 88% believe the Frenchman should be sacked due to the team's underwhelming season and dismal run of form, and the organisation is due to present the results of the survey to Gazidis, according to the Evening Standard.

Arsenal have suffered five defeats in their last six matches in all competitions, a run of form that has cost them the EFL Cup and left them 13 points outside of the Champions League positions, putting Wenger under increased pressure to step down.

"This poll of Arsenal fans shows the overwhelming view is that Arsene Wenger should leave the club this summer," an AST spokesperson is quoted as saying.

"The responses to our survey showed huge affection and respect for Arsene but also the view that he is no longer taking Arsenal forward.

"Our message to the club is that they must be proactive and take the decision sooner rather than later.

"An early decision would both ensure that we are well prepared for next season and also mean that fans could use the final games of the season to give him the send-off he deserves."

Wenger has insisted that he will not walk away from Arsenal, but reports suggest that this will be his final season in charge unless he secures Champions League qualification by winning the Europa League.
