Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette says that Hugo Lloris played a key role in Tottenham Hotspur claiming a point at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur secured a point in Sunday afternoon's North London derby due to the performance of their goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Spurs led by two goals at the Emirates Stadium before Lacazette halved the deficit before the interval.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then netted for 2-2 in the 71st minute, but both sides had opportunities to snatch a winner in the latter stages of the Premier League affair.

Lacazette has said that Spurs have Lloris to thank for securing a point, with the France international making a number of impressive saves in the all-London contest.

"We wanted to win today but one point for each team is good," Lacazette told BBC Sport. "It is always better to get one point rather than nothing. I scored and everybody was happy going into half-time. I think they can say thank you Hugo [Lloris] for all the saves."

Arsenal have gathered seven points from their four Premier League matches this season to sit fifth in the table, while Tottenham are ninth on five points.
