Alexandre Lacazette changed the game after coming on as a second-half substitute in Arsenal's 3-0 win over Stoke City, according to Gunners legend Thierry Henry.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has praised Alexandre Lacazette for his contributions off the bench in the Gunners' 3-0 win over Stoke City.

Arsene Wenger's charges were struggling to break the Potters down at the Emirates Stadium, but Lacazette's introduction after the hour mark preceded a late three-goal salvo.

Indeed, the former Lyon striker rounded off the scoring by coolly tucking away a last-minute penalty, making him the first Arsenal player to reach 10 goals this season.

"I think for me he changed the game," Henry told Sky Sports News after the game.

"When Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went on the left and Lacazette came on as a number nine, he started to make runs that a number nine should make.

"Making runs in behind, running the line, being available - as we saw with the penalty - and he does come and play with Mesut Ozil with that penalty.

"He started to be the guy that they were looking for to make those penetrative runs. And Aubameyang got his chance when he went on the left and made that run. For me, Lacazette changed the game when he came on."

Arsenal remain sixth in the table, five points behind Chelsea, following the win in North London.
