Team News: Joel Campbell starts for Arsenal

Joel Campbell makes his first start in almost a month for Arsenal in their League Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday.

Joel Campbell has been named in Arsenal's starting lineup for the first time in almost a month ahead of their League Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

His inclusion is one of eight changes for Arsene Wenger's side following their 2-1 win over Everton at the weekend, as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Olivier Giroud and Petr Cech are the only players to retain their places.

Youngsters Glen Kamara and Alex Iwobi both get a run out, while Theo Walcott and Nacho Monreal are among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, the home side have made just two changes following their victory over South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United in the Championship last time out.

There is a change between the posts for the Owls as Joe Wildsmith gets the nod ahead of Keiren Westwood, while Jeremy Helan is in for Fernando Forestieri, who is cup tied.

Sheffield Wednesday: Wildsmith; Hutchinson, Loovens, Lees, Helan; Joao, Lee, Hunt, Wallace; Pudil, Bannan
Subs: Price, Palmer, Semedo, Nuhiu, McGugan, Bus, Sasso

Arsenal: Cech; Debuchy, Chambers, Mertesacker, Gibbs; Gibbs, Flamini, Kamara, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Iwobi; Campbell, Giroud
Subs: Macey, Paulista, Walcott, Monreal, Bennacer, Bielik, Sheaf
