How Arsenal could line up against Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up for Sunday's Premier League meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has a number of injury and suspension concerns to contend with ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Gunners could be without nearly an entire team for the visit of a Wolves side sitting one point above them in the division with an identical goals for and against record.

Following a run of one win in five in the league, failing to score in four of those games, the pressure is on Arteta to get things right this weekend.

Ahead of the match, Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up.

Out: Gabriel Martinelli (knee), Pablo Mari (ankle), Nicolas Pepe (suspended)
Doubtful: Thomas Partey (thigh), Calum Chambers (fitness), Mohamed Elneny (coronavirus), Sead Kolasinac (coronavirus), Bukayo Saka (knee), Willian (muscle), David Luiz (muscle)

Given the knock sustained by David Luiz in Thursday's win over Molde, Arteta may be forced to go with a back four against Wolves.

Reiss Nelson impressed in that European victory and Arteta hinted after the match that the 20-year-old may be rewarded with a first Premier League start of the campaign.

Fellow attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was used through the middle for the goalless draw with Leeds United, but the possible absence of Bukayo Saka and Willian could see Alexandre Lacazette recalled up top.

Elsewhere, Thomas Partey is among those struggling to overcome injury and Mohamed Elneny's availability is unknown due to recently testing positive for coronavirus, so it may again be a midfield axis of Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos.
