How Arsenal could line up against Wolverhampton Wanderers

Ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash between Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sports Mole looks at how Unai Emery's side could line up in North London.

Arsenal head into their Premier League encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers having put together a nine-match unbeaten streak in the top flight.

The Gunners lost to Manchester City and Chelsea at the start of the campaign, but Unai Emery's team have dropped just four points in the league since August 18.

That run of form has left the North London outfit in fifth position in the standings and just six points adrift of leaders Manchester City.

Emery has a number of injury concerns ahead of Sunday's match, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up at the Emirates Stadium.

Out: Danny Welbeck (ankle), Laurent Koscielny (Achilles), Mohamed Elneny (thigh), Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin), Stephan Lichtsteiner (muscular)
Doubtful: Nacho Monreal (thigh)

Danny Welbeck faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking his ankle against Sporting Lisbon, while Stephan Lichtsteiner is out after picking up a muscular problem in the same match.

Laurent Koscielny is not ready to make his return from a long-term Achilles injury, but Nacho Monreal could feature in the squad after a short period out with a thigh problem.

Sead Kolasinac or Ainsley Maitland-Niles could start ahead of Monreal after coming off the bench on Thursday night, while Bernd Leno will be recalled in place of Petr Cech.

Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira will be restored to the centre of pitch - with Matteo Guendouzi and Aaron Ramsey likely to drop down to the substitutes' bench - but Alex Iwobi could get the nod over Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are also expected to be handed an immediate recall to the team.
