How Arsenal could line up against Chelsea

Sports Mole predicts how Arsenal will set out their side for Saturday's Premier League showdown with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Unai Emery will be hoping to get his Arsenal tenure up and running at the second time of asking with a positive result against Chelsea on Saturday evening.

Following their opening-game loss to Manchester City, the Gunners make the short trip to Stamford Bridge for the pick of this weekend's Premier League ties.

Arsenal's attempts to play the ball out from the back did not exactly go to plan against the champions, but Emery also felt that there were positives to take away from the match, meaning that changes may be kept to a minimum.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how the new man in charge may set out his side in West London.

Arsenal possible XI vs. Chelsea
Arguably the biggest decision for Emery to make in the days leading up the game is whether to stick with Petr Cech in goal or go with summer signing Bernd Leno, who looks a far better fit for the Spaniard's preferred style of play.

Having held off from using Leno against Man City, though, it seems unlikely that the German stopper will be thrown in at the deep end away to Chelsea, even if Cech's display last weekend did lead to some amusement.

Emery will also be hoping that Hector Monreal is back in contention after sitting out the opening match of the season, as makeshift full-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles picked up an injury to join Sead Kolasinac on the sidelines.

Elsewhere, Lucas Torreira has been tipped to start at Stamford Bridge after being given an extra week to find his feet, which would likely mean young midfielder Matteo Guendouzi dropping down to the bench.

Alexandre Lacazette did his chances of a start no harm with his display from the bench against City, meanwhile, but including the French striker from the off would mean leaving out one of Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
