Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal.

Manchester City will be looking to make the FA Cup final for the 12th time in their history when they take on Arsenal in the first semi-final of the competition on Saturday night.

Pep Guardiola's side are the holders of the competition, winning their sixth title last term, but Arsenal are the most successful club in the history of the FA Cup, lifting the trophy on 13 separate occasions.

City will enter this weekend's match off the back of a 2-1 home win over Bournemouth in the Premier League, while either Chelsea or Manchester United will be waiting in the final should the Citizens manage to triumph.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Sergio Aguero

Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Aguero will not feature again in the Premier League or FA Cup this season after undergoing knee surgery in Barcelona. There is a chance that the Argentine could be back for part of their Champions League campaign, although it remains to be seen how the striker's recovery progresses in the coming weeks.

Claudio Bravo

Bravo has played every minute of the team's FA Cup campaign this season, but the Chile international will miss Saturday's contest with a muscular problem, meaning that Ederson will start between the sticks.
