Paul Pogba pays tribute to "top player" Mesut Ozil

France midfielder Paul Pogba cites Mesut Ozil as a "big example" after his side knocked Germany out in the semi-finals of Euro 2016.

Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba has described Arsenal's Mesut Ozil as a "big example" to him.

Pogba's France side knocked Ozil's Germany out of Euro 2016 on Thursday evening courtesy of an Antoine Griezmann brace in Marseille as the hosts progressed into the final.

However, the 23-year-old midfielder, who has been linked with a £100m move to Manchester United in recent days, paid tribute to Ozil on social media after the match.

France will face Portugal in Sunday's Euro 2016 final at the Stade de France.
