Scottish League Two roundup: Annan Athletic go top as East Fife slip up

Sports Mole rounds up all of Saturday's action in Scottish League Two.

It was a quiet day in the closest division of British football as Annan Athletic gained a slender lead at the top of the Scottish League Two table.

Peter Weatherson scored early and a Ricky Little own goal secured a 2-0 victory for the Borderers against Arbroath.

East Fife surrendered their place at the top of the league after dropping points against lowly Stirling Albion. Nathan Austin gave East Fife the lead but Willie Robertson equalised in the second half.

Montrose rose into the playoff places after defeating Queen's Park 1-0 at Hampden Park. Graham Webster scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute.

Berwick came from behind to defeat bottom club East Stirlingshire 2-1 and Elgin City's match against Clyde finished in a 1-1 draw.
