Charlotte Dujardin has set a new world record for dressage grand prix at the London International Horse Show.

The double Olympic champion set a score of 84.447% on her horse Valegro, beating the previous best of 84.08%.

The 27-year-old Brit told BBC Sport: "The horse is amazing, I am just so lucky to have him.

"Valegro had a good holiday after London, and he has come back stronger. He couldn't have come back and done any better.

"I had the worst headache earlier in the day. I rode a bit safer than I would normally."

Dujardin takes part in the World Cup freestyle final later today.
