LadBaby are on course for the Christmas number one for a third consecutive year after huge early sales.

The race for this year's Christmas number one appears to be over after just 48 hours of sales.

Midweek data from the Official Charts Company suggests that LadBaby will storm to the top spot on Christmas Day with 'Don't Stop Me Eatin''.

The novelty track - set to the tune of Journey classic 'Don't Stop Believin'' - has notched up 80,000 sales in the first two days of the week and is certain to become their third consecutive festive chart-topper.

Currently in second place is Jess Glynne's 'This Christmas' - a cover of Donny Hathaway's 1971 track - which would be her highest-charting single in two years if it holds steady, while Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas' is at three and Wham's 'Last Christmas' is tracking at four.

Justin Bieber is at seven in the midweeks with 'Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree' and Chris Rea classic 'Driving Home For Christmas' is at 11.

Elsewhere, the 56-second track 'Boris Johnson Is A F***ing C**t' by a group called The Kunts has made it to number 19 in the midweeks and is the third fastest seller of the week so far.
