'Female Boss' Tulisa Contostavlos reveals an offer of help to two elderly neighbours during the coronavirus crisis.

Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed that she is "trying to do [her] bit" by offering her assistance to two elderly neighbours during the coronavirus crisis.

The UK has entered a state of lockdown in an effort to contain the deadly disease, which disproportionately targets people aged 70 and over and those with underlying health conditions.

Self-styled 'Female Boss' Tulisa, 31, has written to two elderly neighbours with an offer of help during the lockdown and then posted a copy of her letter to Instagram in order to "inspire" her followers to do likewise.

In the letter, the popstar wrote to her elderly neighbours: "Hey hope you're well it's Tulisa here.

"Just wanted to let you know I am here to help during this stressful time. Even though you're clearly fit as a fiddle & seem to have more energy than me most days, it's always better to be safe then sorry [sic]. Which is why I'm sure you'll be avoiding human contact & trips out as much as possible.

"Therefore I'd like to offer my services as your new personal assistant. Anything you need from food shopping to chemist trips & prescriptions, it would be my honour to take over from you & help. Please txt or call me & I am more then happy [sic] to go & sort for you for the foreseeable future."

Former The X Factor judge Tulisa, who has also starred in movies such as Big Fat Gypsy Gangster, made her pop comeback last year with the single 'Daddy'.
