5ive star Abz Love admits that he has given up on his attempts at rural living after realising that he was "rubbish" farmer.

5ive star Abz Love has abandoned his life in the countryside and returned to London, admitting that he is "a rubbish farmer".

The 41-year-old left the boyband in 2014 in order to pursue his dream of living a rural life, buying a dilapidated farm in Wales and renovating it with his partner.

The antics were documented in the now-cult BBC Two series Country Strife: Abz on the Farm and the rapper even released a song embracing his new life as a farmer, 'Cockadoodledoo', in 2016.

Abz has now given up on the project, however, telling The Sun: "The animals just all died, the plants weren't growing any more - I'm a rubbish farmer.

"There was another plan for me, so I'm back in London.

"It's still naturally what I want - have a little land, a dog, let my beard grow."

Abz is now working on a boyband supergroup project called 'Boyz On Block' with Boyzone's Shane Lynch, Another Level's Dane Bowers and Phats & Small star Ben Ofoedu.
