Lloyd Will will return to his role as Sgt Andrew Rodwell for the upcoming continuation of Neighbours.

Lloyd Will will reprise his role as Sgt Andrew Rodwell for the upcoming revival of Neighbours, it has been confirmed.

The beloved Aussie soap will be back on screens this autumn via Amazon's Freevee service, just over a year after its original 37-year run came to an end.

A number of stars are already confirmed to be returning - including Stefan Dennis (Paul), Jackie Woodburne (Susan), Alan Fletcher (Dr Karl), Ryan Moloney (Toadie), Ian Smith (Harold), Rebekah Elmaloglou (Terese), Tim Kano (Leo) and Annie Jones (Jane) - and now Will has been added to the list.

Posting on social media, the soap's official account said: "We're very happy to announce that Lloyd Will is also reprising his role as Sergeant Andrew Rodwell in the new season of #Neighbours.

"Who else was going to keep those Erinsborough residents in check?"

The O.C. star Mischa Barton is also joining the cast in a guest capacity playing an American character called Reece, who appears to have a mystery agenda for arriving in Erinsborough.
